Configurational analysis of conditions influencing customers' channel switching intention in omnichannel retailing: a fuzzy-set analysis.

This research examined the interplay among personal factors, namely channel lock-in, cross-channel synergy, attribute-based decision making (ADM); environmental factors, namely others' past switching behaviour (OPB), pressure to switch from others (PSO); and behavioural factors, namely perceived self-efficacy and perception on facilitating conditions as antecedents to customers' channel switching intention in an omnichannel context. Drawing on the complexity theory and set theory, we applied configurational analysis using the fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis. The result of the analysis indicated two (2) sufficient configurations that led to an intention to switch channels.

A 25-year experience with hemicorporectomy for terminal pelvic osteomyelitis.

Background: Hemicorporectomy involves amputation of the pelvis and lower extremities by disarticulation through the lumbar spine with concomitant transection of the aorta, inferior vena cava, and spinal cord. Of 57 cases reported in the literature, limited experience exists with hemicorporectomy for terminal pelvic osteomyelitis, with only 11 cases described.

Objective: To describe how U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) pharmacists serving in jobs that are normal for them, but considerably different than those found in the private sector, are making a difference in advancing the nation's health.

A review of the literature reveals that the surgical technique has been relatively unchanged since 1960. The standard anterior to posterior approach is associated with significant blood loss and morbidity, likely contributing to lengthy hospital stay.

Linking case management and community development.

Case management, in various forms, is now institutionalized as a core part of policy and programs designed to deliver home- and community-based services to older adults. The case management role, in theory, requires attention to both client and system goals, although in practice the system goals that have received most attention have been gatekeeping and resource allocation. While case managers have been admonished to find and develop resources in the community, this has primarily taken the form of including informal services in individual client care plans.

Solvent effects on the reactivity of fluorenyl nitrenium ion with DNA-like probes.

Laser Flash Photolysis (LFP) experiments carried out on 2-azidofluorene in aqueous systems generate 2-fluorenyl nitrenium ion (lambda(max) = 450 nm) which decays with first order rate constant and is quenched with 2'-deoxyguanosine originating an intermediate, namely the C8 adduct of 2-fluorenyl nitrenium ion, with bimolecular rate constant in the order of 1.3 x 10(9) M(-1) s(-1) in pure water. Contrasting loxapine to its isomer isoloxapine--the critical role of in vivo D2 blockade in determining atypicality.

Background: Loxapine is a typical antipsychotic while isoloxapine, its 8Cl-isomer, shows atypicality in some animal models. The basis for this difference is not well understood. The purpose of this study was to systematically compare the two drugs in in vitro and in vivo animal models, and to understand mechanisms underlying their differential typical/atypical profiles.

Increasing D2 affinity results in the loss of clozapine's atypical antipsychotic action.

Typical antipsychotics (haloperidol) give rise to severe motor side-effects while atypical antipsychotics like clozapine do not. Action at several neurotransmitter receptors have been implicated. To identify the critical mechanisms involved we synthesized an 8-C1 isomer of clozapine which showed an equivalent affinity to clozapine on multiple receptors (5-HT1A, 5-HT2, D1, D4, M1) but differed in having a 10-fold higher affinity at the dopamine D2/3 receptor.
