Prostate cancer can be complicated by spontaneous intracranial haematoma. In the acute setting, an intracranial haematoma can appear isodense on CT scanning, especially if a coagulopathy is present. Diffuse intravascular coagulation (DIC) can be the underlying pathophysiological mechanism that leads to spontaneous bleeding.
