Till date only 7% of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis proteome has been explored for discovering antigens capable of activating T-cell responses. Therefore, it becomes crucial to screen the remaining Mycobacterium tuberculosis proteome for more immunodominant T-cell epitopes.
