Aim: The study goal was to inform the creation of a blueprint for an advanced practice nurse (APN) in public health.

Background: No internationally accepted standard for an APN in public health exists. Activities of public health nurses (PHN) traditionally have centered on health promotion and disease prevention, but many have added other population-based activities such as chronic and acute disease treatment.

Aim: To examine the relationships between self-efficacy, uncertainty and anxiety among nursing graduates waiting for a mandatory nursing licensing test that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: A total of 352 graduates of nursing education programs participated in this mixed-methods study. The data were collected using an online questionnaire in June 2020.

Background: During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nursing Division at the Israeli Ministry of Health and partners conducted a study to examine the nurses' perceptions towards a set of personal and professional circumstances that may affect their performance.

Method: A cross-sectional Web-based study was conducted in Israel.
