Severe and Recurrent Acute Kidney Injury Following Dichlorvos Exposure - A Case Report.

Dichlorvos, an organophosphate compound, has the potential to cause acute kidney injury (AKI) besides its well-known neuromuscular complications. We report a case of severe-recurrent AKI that progressed to end-stage-renal-disease (ESRD) following accidental exposure to Dichlorvos. A 52-year-old male farmer presented with breathlessness after accidental exposure while spraying in the field.

A 44-year-old female presented with dull upper abdominal pain. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) of the abdomen revealed a well-distended gallbladder with multiple foci of minimally enhancing, intraluminal, soft tissue lesion, and hyperdensity on non-contrast scan measuring 4.3 × 3.

Isolated intestinal neuronal dysplasia- type B of ileum: A rare occurrence.

Intestinal neuronal dysplasia type B in the gastrointestinal tract is a rare occurrence and may occur alone or in combination with Hirschsprung disease. Distal colon seems to be a frequent site for isolated IND-B cases; however, small bowel involvement is scarcely reported. We report a case of 9 years old boy presenting with features of intestinal pseudo-obstruction for 5 years.
