Cysticercosis is one of the most common parasitic infections seen in the human population which most commonly affects the nervous system. Isolated cysticercosis of the liver is rare, and only less than five cases have been reported in the literature. Here, we describe an isolated cysticercosis of the liver.

Methods: Present study is a retrospective analysis of a prospectively maintained database between July 2002 and July 2019.
Fever of unknown origin frequently remains a diagnostic challenge. Immunological diseases account for about 20- 30% cases of these fevers. We report the case of a boy who presented with high fever for 2 months and was finally diagnosed as a case of IgG4-related disease at the rectovesical pouch.

The chemokine (CXCR-4) receptor analogues are the newer agents being postulated for myeloma imaging and have shown good diagnostic performance. We report a case of plasmacytoma with suspicious renal cell carcinoma, in whom Ga CXCR-4 PET/CT revealed tracer-avid lesion in the left perinephric region.

They are usually seen in the posterior mediastinum and the paraspinal retroperitoneum in relation to the sympathetic chain. In the head and neck, they are usually related to the cervical sympathetic ganglia or to the ganglion nodosum of the vagus nerve or the hypoglossal nerve.

However, studies are controversial regarding their significance and there is limited data after the new prognostic classification of PIGN.
Methods: Renal biopsy-proven cases of PIGN were included and their clinical details, ANCA status by immunofluorescence (IIF) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), Birmingham Vasculitis Activity Score (BVAS) and treatment outcomes at 6 months were noted.
Goals And Background: We evaluated ex and in vivo effect of streptokinase on pancreatic necrosum to improve the success rate of pigtail catheter drainage and irrigation in infected walled off pancreatic necrosis using step up approach and also looked at potential risk of bleeding.
Experiment And Clinical Cases: 1000 IU/ml of streptokinase was added to 10 g. of intra-operatively obtained fresh tissue of peripancreatic necrosis and results compared to treatment with saline.
Rapidly progressive renal failure is a common but severe feature of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis. A histopathological classification for ANCA-associated pauci-immune glomerulonephritis was developed for prognostication of these patients. The present study aims to classify patients of pauci-immune glomerulonephritis according to this classification and its impact on outcome.

Aim: To evaluate Multiplex PCR (MPCR) using MPB64 and IS6110 primers specific for M. tuberculosis for rapid diagnosis of GITB.
The Dabska tumor also known as Endovascular papillary angioendothelioma is a rare type of hemangioendothelioma characterized by intraluminal papillary endothelial structures. Most of these are superficial in location but occurrence in deeper tissues is also known. We describe case report of testicular Dabska tumor in a child presenting as inguinal hernia.

Both have same electronic configuration therefore they are antagonist at higher individual concentration. The present study was designed with the aim to investigate the mechanisms pertaining to toxic effects of copper on human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and to evaluate the cytoprotective effect of zinc on copper-induced cytotoxicity.

She recovered completely on potassium and alkali supplementation. Biopsy and scintigraphy of the minor salivary glands confirmed the presence of Sjogren syndrome.

Intestinal myiasis is usually an accidental phenomenon, which occurs due to the ingestion of eggs or larvae present in food. Usually the patient is asymptomatic and the larvae are excreted harmlessly in the feces.
