Among the associated causes, or risk factors, the mother's nutritional status strongly influences fetal growth and birth weight outcomes of the concept. Introduction: Social housing programmes have been shown to influence health, but their effects on cardiovascular mortality and incidence of infectious diseases, such as leprosy and tuberculosis, are unknown. We will use individual administrative data to evaluate the effect of the Brazilian housing programme Minha Casa Minha Vida (MCMV) on cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality and incidence of leprosy and tuberculosis.

Methods And Analysis: We will link the baseline of the 100 Million Brazilian Cohort (2001-2015), which includes information on socioeconomic and demographic variables, to the MCMV (2009-2015), CVD mortality (2007-2015), leprosy (2007-2015) and tuberculosis (2007-2015) registries.

Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, are roundworms that live in the intestines of dogs and cats, respectively, and are predominantly agents of human toxocariasis. This article aimed to reflect on the need of applying transdisciplinarity in distance education, since it presumes a new model, transition, change, and transformation. The goal of distance education is the supportive use in virtual and interactive learning environments, allowing the integration of multiple media tools, in an organized manner, to the production, interaction and knowledge socialization elaboration. In Brazil, nursing education has several experiences in using distance education with promising results, demonstrating good acceptance on the part of students and improvements on teaching-learning process.

This article aims at presenting a health evaluation tool for the institutionalized aged developed under the concepts of the Nursing Minimum Data Set (NMDS) divided in two sections: identification and health evaluation. It is a methodological research about the development of a data collection tool. The tool is constituted of two sections: Section A contains identification data in the admission, and Section B is the Total Assessment Form, containing data of cognitive, communication, hearing, vision, mood and behavior patterns, and physiological and nutritional conditions.

This paper presents a proposal for a set of computerized data to construct an instrument in initial evaluations of the overall state of health elderly persons.
