Universities around the world were closed for several months to slow down the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this crisis, a tremendous amount of effort was made to use online education to support the teaching and learning process. Obesity, insulin resistance, diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidaemia are important pathogenetic factors of the process. It is known that among patients with cholecystolithiasis and diabetes mellitus in their anamnesis complications of cholecystolithiasis occur much more frequently like among patients without diabetes.
