Purpose: To examine the outcomes of vitreoretinal surgery for retinal disorders at Tilganga Eye Centre in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Design: Retrospective noncomparative case series.
Participants: Records of 255 patients undergoing vitreoretinal surgery from December 2000 to January 2003 were reviewed.
Purpose: To describe the first pediatric cataract surgery case series report from Nepal.
Setting: Tilganga Eye Center, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Methods: This study comprised a consecutive series of 112 eyes of 85 children having cataract surgery with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation.
Purpose: To identify indications and outcomes in a large series of penetrating keratoplasty surgeries performed in Nepal.
Methods: A retrospective case series of 472 consecutive penetrating keratoplasty surgeries (408 patients) performed at Tilganga Eye Center, Kathmandu, Nepal from June 1994 to September 1999.
Results: Mean recipient age was 39.
