This work reports the synthesis of nickel ferrite (NiFe) nanoparticles, N-doped mesoporous carbon nanoflakes (NCF) and novel nickel ferrite-carbon nanoflakes (NiFe@NCF) nanocomposite using solvothermal method. NCF was derived from a cyanobacterial consortium consisting of Anabaena, Lyngbya and Weistiellopsis, rich in carbon and nitrogen. The synthesized nanoparticles were used as heterogeneous photocatalyst for degradation of two harmful water pollutants, ciprofloxacin (CIP) and levofloxacin (LEV).

Purpose: This study determined the patterns of distribution of inguinal nodes and the optimal margin needed around the femoral vessels to propose guidelines for inguinal clinical target volume (CTV) delineation in penile cancer.
Methods And Materials: Patients with biopsy-proven penile squamous cell carcinoma with inguinal node metastases were identified on a computed tomography scan. Distribution of nodes and distance of nodes to the nearest femoral vessel and inferior edge of pubic symphysis (IPS) were obtained.

The objectives of this study were to validate a novel ultrasound technique and to use it to study the circumferential stress-strain properties of the human esophagus in vivo. A manometric catheter equipped with a high-compliance bag and a high-frequency intraluminal ultrasonography probe was used to record esophageal pressure and images. Validation studies were performed in vitro followed by in vivo studies in healthy human subjects.
