Ficus drupacea is a medicinal tree found in temperate regions. Various parts of this plant had been used traditionally for the treatment of various ailments such as root powder applied externally for skin infections. Analysis was carried out on the bioactive lipids extracted from Ficus drupacea fruit using both petroleum-based solvent (Hexane) and an environmentally friendly solvent Dimethyl carbonate (DMC).
