Clinical manifestations of liver injury in patients with anorexia nervosa.

Aim: The number of Japanese patients with anorexia nervosa (AN) is increasing as society changes. Mild liver injury is a complication of AN in around 30% of cases. In some rare instances, patients present with severe liver injury similar to acute liver failure.
