Dose reduction (DR) of first-generation biologics for plaque psoriasis (TNF-alpha inhibitors (i) and interleukin (IL)-12/23i) has been described in a previous scoping review. The literature on the DR of the newest generation of biologics (IL-17/23i) was scarce. The current review provides a literature update on the previous scoping review on the DR of all biologics, including the newest generation, with a focus on the uptake and implementation of DR in practice.

In particular, such information in asymmetric nanocrystals is still insufficient. We characterized the OPLA (σ) and TPA cross sections (σ) of a series CsPbBr nanocrystals with various aspect ratios (AR) using femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy (TAS).

It can be hypothesized that they have lower scores on Quality of Life (QoL) and self-perception when additional changes occur due to cancer treatment. The purpose of our study was to assess self-perception and QoL of adolescents during or up to three months after adjuvant treatment for a primary malignant bone tumour.

We previously showed that 7 wk of treadmill exercise training in late-middle-aged rats can reverse the modest reductions in skeletal muscle aerobic function and enzyme activity relative to values in young adult rats (Exp Physiol 93: 863-871, 2008). The purpose of the present study was to determine whether extending this training program into senescence would attenuate the accelerated decline in the muscle aerobic machinery normally seen at this advanced age. For this purpose, 29-mo-old Fisher 344 Brown-Norway rats underwent 5 or 7 mo of treadmill exercise training.

Defects of N-glycosylation in humans lead to congenital disorders. The pivotal step of this pathway is the transfer of the evolutionarily conserved lipid-linked core-oligosaccharide to the nascent polypeptide chain, catalysed by the oligosaccharyltransferase.

The reaction between native myeloperoxidase and hydrogen peroxide, yielding Compound II, was investigated using the stopped-flow technique. The pH dependence of the apparent second-order rate constant showed the existence of a protonatable group on the enzyme with a pKa of 4.9.

Little is known about the exchange of Dental Health Information (DHI), as part of the dental health education process, between the Dutch public, organizations active in or related to dentistry and Dutch dental professionals. Based on the ideas of HAVELOCK a communication model was developed. The main question was: how and through which organizations is information supplied, on what subjects related to dental health? A group was formed, consisting of 182 organizations and institutions and 85% decided to collaborate with the study.

2000 persons from an a-select sample of the Dutch population were sent a questionnaire in which the most important question was: "Did you have any questions on matters related to dentistry during the past year?" The question was by nature an open question, and the respondents were entitled to several answers. 640 questionnaires were sent back, of which 398 actually provided an answer to the request. Although the request was for questions only, there were also clear expressions of dissatisfaction.
