The Klein-Gordon problem (KGP) is one of the interesting models that appear in many scientific phenomena. These models are characterized by memory effects, which provide insight into complex phenomena in the fields of physics. In this regard, we propose a new robust algorithm called the confluent Bernoulli approach with residual power series scheme (CBCA-RPSS) to give an approximate solution for the fractional nonlinear KGP.

Collocation technique for shifted Chebyshev of the second kind with residual power series algorithm (CTSCSK-RPSA) is the main method for solving these problems. Moreover, error analysis theory is provided in detail.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 586 hospitalized patients with COVID-19.
Objectives: It remains unclear whether posttransplant outcomes differ according to the pretransplant dialysis modality (peritoneal dialysis vs hemodialysis). Our aim was to assess posttransplant outcomes in patients with different predialysis modalities.
Materials And Methods: Two thousand two hundred fifty-eight kidney recipients following up in Hamed Alessa Organ transplant center in Kuwait were included and divided into two groups according to pre-transplant dialysis modality: Group 1: those who received hemodialysis (HD) and group 2: those with peritoneal dialysis (PD).
Introduction: Cardiovascular and renal complications define the outcomes of diabetic kidney transplant recipients (KTRs). The new diabetes medications have changed the management of diabetes. However, transplant physicians are still reluctant to use sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) and Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA) post kidney transplantation due to fear of drug related complications and lack of established guidelines.

Materials And Methods: Clinical strains of and and two reference strains of were tested. The antibacterial activity of each studied plant extract was evaluated using agar diffusion and broth microdilution assays.
Results: Both aqueous and methanolic extracts of exhibited high antibacterial activity against periodontal pathogens as compared to extracts.
Drought is one of the most detrimental abiotic stresses hampering seed germination, development, and productivity. Maize is more sensitive to drought than other cereals, especially at seedling stage. Our objective was to study genetic regulation of drought tolerance at germination and during seedling growth in maize.

Organ transplant in patients with congenital bleeding disorders is a challenge requiring an integrated approach of various specialists. Inherited factor VII deficiency is the most common of the rare bleeding disorders, with a wide set of hemorrhagic features. Although a kidney allograft is the most frequent type of solid-organ transplant, it is rarely performed in individuals with congenital hemorrhagic disorders.

We aimed to assess the impact of treatment of biopsy-proven chronic active antibodymediated rejection with combined plasma exchange, intravenous immunoglobulin, and rituximab treatment versus intravenous immunoglobulin alone or conservative management on the evolution of renal function in renal transplant recipients.
Materials And Methods: In this retrospective study, we compared patients diagnosed with chronic active antibody-mediated rejection who were treated with standard of care steroids, intravenous immunoglobulin, plasma exchange, and rituximab (n = 40) at our center versus those who received intravenous immunoglobulin only or just intensified maintenance immunosuppression (n = 28).
Aim: Simultaneous inhibition of hepatitis C virus (HCV) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) may enhance anti-HCV effects and reduce resistance and side effects.
Results/methodology: Novel hybrid derivatives were designed and synthesized to exhibit dual activity against HCV and its associated major complication, HCC. The synthesized compounds were screened for their potential activity against HCV and HCC.
Objectives: The idea of transplanting organs is not new, nor is the disease of obesity. Obese transplant recipients have greater risk of early death than their cohorts, which is not due to increased rejection but due to obesity-related complications, including arterial hypertension, diabetes, and delayed graft function. Here, our aim was to evaluate the effects of bariatric surgery versus lifestyle changes on outcomes of moderate to severely obese renal transplant recipients.

Compound 19 was the most active with chemotaxis activity data nearly comparable to that of the positive control, TNP-470.

We study the effect of the changing the average number of viral particles N with different sets of initial conditions on the dynamics of the presented model. Generalized Euler method (GEM) will be used to find a numerical solution of the HIV-1 infection fractional order model.

Objective: The aim of this study was to conduct a quantitative systematic review, including published data, comparing the efficacy of mineral trioxide aggregate and calcium hydroxide as material used for the endodontic management of immature teeth.
Study Design: Relevant studies published through November 2009 were identified through literature searches using Pubmed (Medline) and Scopus databases. Controlled trials in which calcium hydroxide versus mineral trioxide aggregate were used for the apexification of immature permanent teeth were selected for this study.
In search of novel purine antimetabolites, a series of 8-substituted methylxanthine derivatives was prepared in order to explore their in vitro anticancer, anti-HIV-1 and antimicrobial activities. The target compounds include: 8-[(3-substituted-4-oxo-thiazolidin-2-ylidene)hydrazino]-1,3-dimethyl (or 1,3,7-trimethyl)-3,7-dihydropurine-2,6-diones 5a-e, 8-[(3,4-disubstituted 2,3-dihydrothiazol-2-ylidene)hydrazino]-1,3,7-trimethyl-3,7-dihydropurine-2,6-diones 6a-d and 8-(5-amino-3-arylpyrazol-1-yl)-1,3-dimethyl- (or 1,3,7-trimethyl)-3,7-dihydropurine-2,6-diones 7a-g. The in vitro anticancer results revealed that compound 5d exhibited a super sensitivity profile towards leukemia K-562 with a GI(50) value of <0.

Among these derivatives, NSC 725612 and NSC 725716 exhibited interesting anti-HIV-1 activity. To further investigate the structure-activity relationship, we synthesized several new benzofuran derivatives derived from 2-acetylbenzofuran (2, 3a-c) and 2-bromoacetylbenzofuran (6; 7a,b; 8a,b).
