The literature review suggested that the audio signal-modified shuttle walk test (SWTSR) was equally reliable and valid when compared to the conventional shuttle walk test. A comparison of SWTSR with the six-minute walk test (6MWT), which is considered the gold standard in walk tests, allowed us to evaluate the SWTSR and determine its validity and reliability as an alternative or supplement to the 6MWT. The objective of this study was to determine the correlation between the distances walked during a SWTSR and the 6MWT in healthy, normal adults.

Novel genetic variants of banana streak MY virus and banana streak IM virus naturally infecting banana in Northeast India.

Divergent banana streak viruses (BSV) were characterized from banana plants exhibiting diverse symptoms in the Northeast region (NER) of India. Using rolling circle amplification (RCA), the complete genome sequences of seven episomal banana streak MY virus (BSMYV) isolates, including two novel variants, and two new banana streak IM virus (BSIMV) isolates were characterized. The novel BSMYV genetic variants were associated with conspicuous necrosis on newly emerged leaves, peduncle distortion, pseudostem internal necrosis, in addition to common streak symptoms.

Introduction: Recent changes in diagnostics criteria have contributed to the broadening of the autism spectrum disorders and left clinicians ill-equipped to treat the highly heterogeneous spectrum that now includes toddlers and children with sensory and motor issues.

Methods: To uncover the clinicians' critical needs in the autism space, we conducted surveys designed collaboratively with the clinicians themselves. Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), or NETosis, is an innate immune defense mechanism of neutrophils involved in trapping and killing of microbes. The efficiency of NET formation in cord blood derived neutrophils of tLBW and normal birth weight (NBW) newborns in the presence of toll like receptor (TLR) agonist inductions was evaluated.

Impact of exercise training duration on obesity and cardiometabolic biomarkers: a systematic review.

Introduction: Physical exercise deters the risk and reduce the adjusted Odds Ratio related to obesity and cardiometabolic diseases but the amount of physical exercise required for initiating those potential advantageous developments in the human body for normal obese individuals is still debatable and thus made many face the health burden during pandemic, despite of their claiming to be physically active.

Objective: The primary aim of this review was to find an ideal duration and form of exercise that could help reduce the risk of cardiometabolic diseases and its complications for subjects with obesity and deranged cardiometabolic risk markers.

Method: Electronic database PubMed/MedLine, Scopus and PEDro for available literature on Experimental studies and RCT on exercise prescription and its effect on anthropometric measurements as well as key biomarkers in obese individuals, 451 records were procured, 47 full text articles were identified to assess eligibility criteria out of which 19 were finally included in the review.

Leek yellow stripe virus (LYSV) is one of the most important potyviruses, associated with garlic throughout the world, including India. The existence of threatened species against climate adversaries is constrained due to their small population size, narrow genetic base, and narrow niche breadth. We examined if ecological niche model (ENM)-based distribution predictions of species align with their morpho-physiological and demographic responses to future climate change scenarios.

Bioclimatic modeling and FACE study forecast a bleak future for wheat production in India.

Since the impact of future climate change on wheat productivity is inconsistent, we studied geographic distribution and yield of wheat using two global General Circulation Models (GCMs) and Free Air COO Enrichment (FACE) experiments. The GCMs (IPSL-CM5A-LR and NIMR-HADGEM2-AO) with four Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) and 19 bioclimatic variables were used for distribution/ecological niche modeling (ENM). Currently cultivated eight wheat cultivars were exposed to individual treatment of (i) ambient CO, temperature, and ozone (ACO + AO + AT) representing the present climate scenario, and (ii) elevated CO (550 ppm) (ECO), (iii) elevated temperature (+ 2 °C) (ET), (iv) elevated O (ambient + 20 ppb) (EO), (v) elevated CO + elevated O (ECO + EO), and (vi) elevated CO + elevated temperature + elevated O (ECO + EO + ET) under FACE facility simulating the future climate change scenarios in 2050.

The complexity and non-linear dynamics of socio-motor phenomena underlying social interactions are often missed by observation methods that attempt to capture, describe, and rate the exchange in real time. Unknowingly to the rater, socio-motor behaviors of a dyad exert mutual influence over each other through subliminal mirroring and shared cohesiveness that escape the naked eye. Implicit in these ratings nonetheless is the assumption that the other participant of the social dyad has an identical nervous system as that of the interlocutor, and that sensory-motor information is processed similarly by both agents' brains.
