Intraoperative aortic dissection is one of the complications of aortic cannulation, which is potentially lethal with an incidence of about 0.16%. Early diagnosis and treatment can lower the mortality rate effectively.

Intracranial AVM can cause convulsions, headache, focal neurological deficits and intracranial hemorrhage if ruptures. We present a 33-year-old parturient with history of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, who was admitted for labor induction.
