Several data have suggested that pregnant women have an increased risk of severe COVID-19 compared to those who are not pregnant. Moreover, different studies have showed that severe COVID-19 is limited mostly to unvaccinated women. The aim of the present study was to ascertain the different maternal and fetal outcomes in pregnant women with COVID-19 according to their vaccination status.

Background: Few studies analyzed the prognostic role of systemic inflammatory markers in early-stage ovarian cancer. The primary endpoint of the present study was to assess the prognostic impact of baseline inflammatory markers in early-stage ovarian cancer. The secondary endpoints were to compare the disease-free survival (DFS) of inflammatory markers with standard risk factors and to correlate these with BRCA mutational status.

Several studies have explored the prognostic role of hormone receptor status in high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) patients. However, few reports have investigated their expression according to BRCA mutational status. The aim of this single-center, observational, retrospective study was to explore the hormone receptor pattern and its potential prognostic role in a cohort of 207 HGSOC women stratified for BRCA mutational status.

Objective: To evaluate a relation between status and the Chemotherapy Response Score in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy and interval debulking surgery.

Methods: Data were retrospectively collected on patients with unresectable disease undergoing three or four cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and interval debulking surgery at the Gynecologic Oncology Unit of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart from January 2016 to December 2020. All patients were assessed for somatic mutation at diagnosis.

Background: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy with interval debulking surgery represents an alternative treatment for advanced ovarian cancer. Currently, there are few data about the use of poly adenosine diphosphate-ribose polymerase inhibitors in the neoadjuvant setting.

Primary Objective: To evaluate whether the administration of olaparib in combination with standard chemotherapy in the neoadjuvant setting can improve tumor response.

Objectives: The chemotherapy response score (CRS) has been developed for measuring response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in tubo-ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma. This study aimed to validate the ability of this three-tier scoring system of pathologic response on omental specimens to determine prognosis in a subgroups of patients who had clinical complete response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Methods: This was a retrospective study, conducted in women receiving interval debulking surgery at the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, between December 2007 and April 2017.
