Background: Inguinal lymph node (LN) dissection (iLND) is mandatory in cN2 penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC). Open iLND (OIL) is often omitted due to the high rate of complications. A minimally invasive approach may reduce morbidity; however, evidence supporting its role to treat bulky nodes is limited.

The institutional database was searched for cystectomy cases with cutaneous ureterostomy, from 1 June 2016 to 31 August 2022. The study population was split into two groups, according to the surgical approach.

Since immunotherapy represents an expensive treatment with potential side effects, a better understanding of patient-specific risks of disease progression might be useful for clinicians when weighing the indication for adjuvant nivolumab. To identify the criteria for risk stratification of disease progression among MIBC patients eligible for adjuvant nivolumab.

Background: Recently, an innovative tool called "proficiency score" was introduced to assess the learning curve for robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP). However, the initial study only focused on patients with low-risk prostate cancer for whom pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) was not required. To address this issue, we aimed to validate proficiency scores of a contemporary multicenter cohort of patients with high-risk prostate cancer treated with RARP plus extended PLND by trainee surgeons.

Methods: Patients with cT2-4/N0/M0 or Bacillus Calmette-Guérine (BCG) failure high-grade non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) undergoing RC and ileal Orthotopic Neobladder (iON) from 2010 to 2015 were enrolled in "BCa cohort". Patients aged ≥ 18 yrs old, with no previous diagnosis of BCa or any genitourinary cancer disease were included from General Practitioner outpatients and enrolled in "HP cohort".
Purpose: Aim of this study is to investigate the association between DM and oncological outcomes among patients with muscle-invasive (MI) or high-risk non-muscle invasive (NMI) bladder cancer (BC) who underwent robot-assisted radical cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion (RARC).
Methods: An IRB approved multi-institutional BC database was queried, including patients underwent RARC between January 2013 and June 2023. Patients were divided into two groups according to DM status.
The aim of our study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a sutureless off-clamp robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (sl-oc RAPN), particularly its impact on renal function. A multicenter study was conducted from April 2021 to June 2022. Patients diagnosed with a renal mass of >2 cm and a PADUA score of ≤6 consecutively underwent an sl-oc RAPN procedure.

Data concerning two continuous series of patients with cT1-2N0M0 renal tumors treated with sl-oc RAPN either by a novice or an expert surgeon were extracted from prospectively populated institutional databases over the last 4 years. Perioperative outcomes as well as the baseline characteristics of patients and tumors were compared by using χ and Mann-Whitney tests for categorical and continuous variables, respectively.

Materials And Methods: We included patients with bladder cancer (BCa; cT2-4a; cN0; cM0) treated with NAC and radical cystectomy (RC) + pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) at our institution between 2012 and 2022 (N = 157). CR (ypT0) and LNI (ypN+) were defined at final pathology.
Few data are available on survival outcomes of partial nephrectomy performed for cystic renal tumors. We present the first long-term oncological outcomes of cystic (cystRCC) versus pure clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) in a propensity score-matched (PSM) analysis. Our "renal cancer" prospectively maintained database was queried for "cystRCC" or "ccRCC" and "off-clamp robotic partial nephrectomy" (off-C RPN).

Though, this surgical procedure is underused because of its anticipated morbidity. Minimally invasive approaches were proposed to minimize complications associated with open surgery.

The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the functional, oncologic, and perioperative outcomes between off-clamp robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (off-C RAPN) and off-clamp open partial nephrectomy (off-C OPN) through a propensity score-matched (PSM) analysis. A 1:1 PSM analysis was used to balance variables potentially affecting postoperative outcomes.

A systematic review identified RCTs including patients aged >18 years with non-metastatic bladder cancer treated with RARC (ICUD or ECUD) vs. oRC and reporting peri- and post-operative outcomes and quality of life (QoL) assessment.

The increasing demand for standardized training in robotic surgery has accelerated the adoption of simulation-based training as a necessary component of modern surgical education. This study examines the existing literature on training approaches employed in robot-assisted urological surgery; (2) Methods: The authors conducted a standardized search of online databases.

Adrenalectomy is commonly considered a curative treatment in case of adrenal gland as site of metastasis. In the present study, we evaluated the impact of primary tumor histology on survival outcomes after a minimally invasive adrenal mastectomy for a solitary metachronous metastasis. From May 2004 to August 2020, we prospectively collected data on minimally invasive adrenalectomies whose pathological examination showed a metastasis.

(1) Background: Less than 30% of patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) receive neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC), and reasons for underuse remain unclear. One potential explanation is the concern for the increased risk of perioperative morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of NAC on the risk of detrimental perioperative outcomes in patients with MIBC treated with radical cystectomy (RC).

Although it is known that physical activity plays a protective role in the onset and progression of this tumor, its impact on patients with low-risk disease who are managed with active surveillance remains unclear. Our scoping review aims to summarize the existing evidence on this subject.

Our objective was to compare 3-yr outcomes from a RCT comparing ORC to RARC with totally intracorporeal UD (iUD).
Methods: Patients with cT2-4 N0 M0 or bacillus Calmette-Guérin-failed high-grade non-muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma who were candidates for RC without absolute contraindications to robotic surgery were included.
Radical Cystectomy (RC) and Urinary Diversion (UD) is a complex surgery associated with a significant impact on health-related quality of life (HRQoL). However, HRQoL assessment is too often overlooked, with survival and complications being the most commonly investigated outcomes. This study aimed to identify the most impaired HRQoL features in patients receiving RC, compared to a healthy population (HP) control, as well as patients' recovery after surgery, differentiating between patients receiving ORC and RARC.
