Background: Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) remains underdiagnosed and undertreated.
Objective: Report the results of the first years (2017-2019) of the Mexican FH registry.
Methods: There are 60 investigators, representing 28 federal states, participating in the registry.
Objective: The objective of the study was to describe the feasibility of single catheter intervention using the transradial approach for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Background: The transradial approach for PCIs has fewer vascular events and complications and lower mortality rate. However, complications can result from forearm artery tortuosity, a longer learning curve and artery spasm that can complicate, delay and impede coronary artery interventions.

Objective: Low flow (LF), defined as stroke volume index (SVi) <35 mL/m(2), prior to the procedure has been recently identified as a powerful independent predictor of early and late mortality in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). The objectives of this study were to determine the evolution of SVi following TAVR and to assess the determinants and impact on mortality of early postprocedural SVi (EP-SVi).
Methods: We retrospectively analysed the clinical, Doppler echocardiographic and outcome data prospectively collected in 255 patients who underwent TAVR.
The incidence of congenital cytomegalovirus infection in Mexico is unknown. We evaluated the presence of cytomegalovirus infection in 560 newborn infants at a public general hospital. There were five (0.
