[Immunohistochemical study of thrombomodulin expression in multiple organs dysfunction syndrome].

Objective: To study the expression of thrombomodulin (TM) and its significance in the pathogenesis of multiple organs dysfunction syndrome (MODS).

Methods: TM expression was determined by immunohistochemical staining in 20 autopsy cases with MODS group and 12 autopsy cases without MODS (control group).
