Background: Autolysate products from yeast origin are very interesting for food, feed, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and fermentation industries. The lysis process greatly influences the quality and efficiency of the final autolysates.
Objectives: Here, we have compared four lysis methods based on autolysis, plasmolysis (with ethanol 1.
This study was done to assess the effects of hydrolyzed yeast on blood cells counts, antioxidant status and gene expression of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines of vaccinated dairy cows. Twenty Holstein lactating dairy cows were randomly divided into four groups received basal diet without (control) and with 10, 20 and 30 g/d/head of hydrolyzed yeast. Cows were vaccinated against foot and mouth disease virus at day 10 and blood samples were taken 10 days after.

Identification of unknown cellular processes, understanding novel protein mechanisms, improving the prediction of protein functions, and gaining information about protein evolution are the main reasons to study MPs. They also play an important role in disease pathways and drug-target discovery.

In this investigation, we synthesized and characterized ten new N-acetyl phosphoramidate compounds and explored the crystal structure of three others. Furthermore, not only were some kinetic inhibition parameters measured, like IC, K, k, K for 7 compounds on human acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), but also their hydrophobic parameter was determined by shake-flask technique.

It was suggested these photoproteins can play an important role in understanding the structural basis of bioluminescence activity. Based on this postulate, in this study the cDNA of mnemiopsin from luminous ctenophore Mnemiopsis leidyi was cloned, expressed, purified and sequenced.
