Modalities of endovascular management for internal iliac artery aneurysms.

Background: Internal iliac artery aneurysms (IIAA) are uncommon. Open repair is technically challenging and has been associated with increased morbidity and mortality compared with repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms. The aim of this study is to assess the outcomes of endovascular treatment of IIAA and incidence of postoperative pelvic ischaemia.

Surgical Management of Intramuscular Venous Malformations.

Background: Intramuscular venous malformations, often erroneously called "intramuscular hemangiomas," present to pediatric orthopaedic surgeons either as a differential diagnosis of tumor or as a cause of muscle pain. Treatment options include injection sclerotherapy or surgery. There is some literature to indicate that sclerotherapy can reduce pain, but little evidence on the effectiveness of surgery.

Fractured osteochondroma presenting with popliteal pseudoaneurysm: Case report and review of literature.

Osteochondroma, the most common tumor of bone, is usually asymptomatic. Vascular complications are an atypical presentation and include true or false aneurysm formation, deep venous thrombosis, and arterial insufficiency. A review of the English literature identified 130 cases of osteochondroma-related vascular complications.

Chondrolipoma of the stomach.

Chondrolipoma, a rare variant of a lipoma, is a benign mesenchymal neoplasm characterised by mature adipocytes with neoplastic hyaline cartilage formation. We describe the first case of a gastric chondrolipoma. The tumour was completely excised via laparoscopic gastric wedge resection with uneventful postoperative recovery.
