[The problems of older people and directions of medical, social and psychological support during the COVID-19 pandemic.].

The review article examines the medical, psychological and social problems that older people face due to the pandemic. The article contains the analysis of the mortality rate in the older age group in different countries. It also demonstrates the negative impact of the pandemic stress on the formation of psychopathological disorders (anxiety, asthenia, panic, cognitive dysfunction).

[Reducing anxiety without deterioration of cognitive functions].

The purpose of the study--demonstrate the ability to reduce anxiety without having a negative impact on concentration and memory. In patients with irritable bowel syndrome studied anxiety, cognitive dysfunction, and memory. Patients received a standard basic therapy or standard treatment with psychotropic medication.

[Informational needs of anesthesiologists and their address satisfaction in the postgraduate training system].

Large-scale questionnaire survey of anesthesiologists, the attendees of advanced training courses, showed the rating of the most important applied topics. Of paramount value appeared to be issues devoted to respiratory support and monitoring. Every third respondent reported the importance of applied psychological training for anesthetists.

[Anesthesiologist-resuscitator: problems of training and maintenance of professional work].

The problems of psychological disturbances and insufficient profeccional skills amongst anaesthesiologists and intensive care specialists are discussed. The authors emphasized the need for special psychological education during refreshing courses and training period in residency. The official education in clinical residency should be updated in accordance with current view of speciality.

[Immunoenzyme analysis of ovarian metastatic antigen-8].

Immunoenzymatic method for the determination of new ovarian-metastatic antigen-8 in human blood serum was worked out. OMA-8 level was studied in blood serum of 40 healthy women, 40 healthy men, 16 neonates, 33 pregnant women, 103 patients with genital tumours. It was found out that OMA-8 level in blood serum of healthy women changed between 2 to 15.

[Detection of trophoblastic beta 1-glycoprotein in tumor tissue and blood in ovarian neoplasms].

Using immunochemical analysis methods (the reaction of precipitation in agar, immunoenzymatic method, immunofluorescence), trophoblastic beta 1-glycoprotein (TBG) concentration in tumour tissue and in the blood serum of patients with ovarian cancer was studied. By rabbits immunization with glycoprotein fraction of ovarian adenocarcinoma, dissolved in 0.6 M sulfosalicylic acid, the authors obtained antibodies to TBG.

[Immunochemical study of the heterogeneity of trophoblastic beta 1-glycoprotein].

It has been found that in mild acid (pH 6.6) and mild-alkaline media (pH 7.7) both pregnancy proteins form complete precipitates.
