Personality traits (PTs) are predictors of the success of control of brain-computer interfaces (BCIs); however, it is unknown how the PTs that are optimal for BCI control changes during training. The paper for the first time analyzes the correlations between PTs and the accuracy of the classification (AC) of brain states in imagining the movements of the hands, feet, and locomotion during 10-day training of ten volunteers in BCI control. In the first 3 days of training, the AC is higher for more stressed and anxious volunteers; in the last days, for calmer ones.

Fucoidans are natural sulfated polysaccharides that have a wide range of biological functions and are regarded as promising antitumor agents. The activity of various fucoidans and their derivatives has been demonstrated in vitro on tumor cells of different histogenesis and in experiments on mice with grafted tumors. However, these experimental models showed low levels of antitumor activity and clinical trials did not prove that this class of compounds could serve as antitumor drugs.

Despite the achievements that have increased viability after the transplantation of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cells (aHSCT), chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) remains the main cause of late complications and post-transplant deaths. At the moment, therapy alternatives demonstrate limited effectiveness in steroid-refractory illness; in addition, we have no reliable data on the mechanism of this condition. The lack of drugs of choice for the treatment of GVHD underscores the significance of the design of new therapies.

Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), based on motor imagery, are increasingly used in neurorehabilitation. However, some people cannot control BCI, predictors of this are the features of brain activity and personality traits. It is not known whether the success of BCI control is related to interhemispheric asymmetry.

The potential of mesenchymal multipotent (stem) cells (MSC) to modify immune reactions and mediate hematopoiesis boosted great interest for their use in allogeneic hemopoietic stem cell transplantation. Because of MSC production of a wide range of cytokines and growth factors, these cells are included in the therapy of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). A number of clinical studies have demonstrated safety and efficacy of MSC-based therapy in acute GVHD.

Personality traits of users can affect the success in controlling brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), and the activity of right and left brain structures may differ depending on personality traits. Earlier, it was not known, how the success of BCI control with different personality traits is associated with interhemispheric asymmetry. In this work, the dependence of the success of imagination of movements, estimated by the success of recognition of EEG signals during imagination of hand movements compared to rest state, on the user's personal characteristics was studied.

A study has been made of compatibility among four F-like factors of genetic transfer (pAP22-4, pAP38, pAP39 and pAP41) labeled separately by transpozones Tn1 and Tn9. It has been established that pAP38 transfer factor is compatible with plasmids pAP22-4, pAP39 and pAP412, while pAP41 transfer factor is compatible with plasmids pAP22-4 and pAP38 but is incompatible with plasmid pAP39.

A study was made of compatibility of three F-like factors of the genetic transfer (pAP22-4, pAP39, pAP41) identified in the cells of serologically typed E. coli strains with F-group incompatibility reference plasmids. The factors of pAP22-4 and pAP41 transfer are partly incompatible with groups FII, FIII, FIV, and FI, FIV, respectively, while the factors of pAP39 transfer are completely incompatible both with groups FI and FIV plasmids.

Two temperature-sensitive mutants--AP 16 and AP 18 were isolated after the treatment of E. coli AB2500 strain with two mutagens (acridine orange and 5-bromuracil). The mutants obtained proved to be sensitive and formed revertants when treated with the following agents: N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine, hydroxylamine, nitrous acid, sodium metabisulfite, methylmethansulfonate, and proflavine.
