Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess the efficacy. of increasing spontaneous expressive language using a modified melodic intonation therapy (MIT) approach with a male participant diagnosed with acquired aphasia and apraxia who was 10 years post onset.
Method: A therapeutic protocol consisting of vocal and linguistic tasks was administered.
Objective: This study investigates the use of a parental questionnaire to determine its effectiveness as a screening tool in identifying speech-language and/or auditory impairments in children.
Patients And Methods: Parents completed speech-language (n = 36) or audiology (n = 23) questionnaires prior to their child's speech-language and/or auditory evaluations. The speech-language and audiology evaluations were conducted by clinicians at three different universities not familiar with the administration and scoring of the parental questionnaires.

Background: Despite the complexity of patient care and promise of interprofessional collaboration in health professional educational programs, interprofessional education and practice implementation challenges exist.
Materials And Methods: A pilot study with a nonequivalent comparison before/after design was conducted to examine undergraduate students' and graduate students' knowledge of the role of nurses and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) while working with patients diagnosed with dysphagia. All students received pre- and post-tests assessing their knowledge of the respective profession.
