Material & Method: The study sample consisted of 158 patients with CIEDs.
Objective: In recent years, an increasing number of evidences suggests that inflammation plays a significant role in the pathophysiology of pulmonary embolism. Although the association between inflammatory markers and pulmonary embolism prognosis has been previously reported, no studies have investigated the ability of the C-reactive protein/albumin ratio, defined as an inflammation-based prognostic score, to predict death in patients experiencing a pulmonary embolism.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 223 patients experiencing a pulmonary embolism.

We aimed to compare the implications of the 2016 and 2019 European Society of Cardiology/European Atherosclerosis Society guidelines with regard to the lipid-lowering treatment use, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol goal attainment rates, and the estimated proportion of patients who would be at goal in an ideal setting.
Methods: Patients with diabetes were classified into 4 risk categories according to 2019 European Society of Cardiology/European Atherosclerosis Society dyslipidemia guidelines from the database of EPHESUS (cross-sectional, observational, countrywide registry of cardiology outpatient clinics) study.
By the beginning of this study in 2019, it was known that hypertension is a risk factor for erectile dysfunction, and also, there are circadian changes that occur in blood pressure. Further, non-dipping hypertension is known to be linked to poor cardiac outcomes and erectile functions, so the research described in this article was initiated with an aim to explore the potential relationship between erectile dysfunction and circadian patterns of newly diagnosed hypertension. In this study, we aimed to investigate the predictors of left ventricular ejection fraction reduction and evaluate the long-term mortality rates in young ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients with or without decreased left ventricular ejection fraction.
Methods: We enrolled retrospectively 411 consecutive ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients aged 45 years or below who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention.
Objectives: Our aim in this study was to evaluate the systemic endothelial dysfunction status and carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) in patients with retinal vein occlusion (RVO).
Methods: Seventy-six patients who presented to the clinic with the diagnosis of RVO and 76 age- and gender-matched healthy individuals without a RVO history were included in the study. The patients' best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and central macular thickness (CMT) were measures, and diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, carotid artery disease, body mass index, and smoking histories were recorded.
