is a herbaceous plant with promising compounds in its composition that can be applied in several areas such as agronomic, pharmaceutical and chemical. However, further studies on this plant are needed in order to characterise it phytochemically, pharmacologically and toxicologically. In this sense, the present study aimed to verify the unprecedented identification of its essential oil (EO) components.
