[Voiding dysfunction in children with vesicoureteral reflux].

Unlabelled: The aim of the study was to assess the rate of development of voiding dysfunction (VD) in patients with reflux nephropathy. We investigated 150 pts with vesicoureteral reflux (VUR): 33 boys and 117 girls in mean age 9 +/- 3.3 years with normal renal function.

Urological anomalies in children with renal agenesis or multicystic dysplastic kidney.

This study aimed to determine the frequency of associated urological abnormalities in children with unilateral renal agenesis (RA) or multicystic dysplastic kidney (MCDK). In total, 38 children (10 girls, 28 boys) were studied: 21 with RA and 17 with MCDK. In 14 children (37%) anomalies of the urinary tract were suspected prenatally in ultrasound studies.

[Tubulointerstitial nephritis with uveitis (TINU) syndrome].

Authors present an 11-year old girl with non-specific clinical symptoms with increase of inflammatory indices and acute non-oliguric renal failure: creatinine clearance - 55 ml/min/1.73 m2. An anterior uveitis was observed after 7 weeks of illness.
