Purpose: To evaluate the accuracy of clinical indicators and etiological factors associated with the nursing diagnosis of ineffective overweight self-management among university students.

Method: A diagnostic accuracy study with a cross-sectional design was conducted with 108 university students. A latent class analysis model with random effects was used to establish sensitivity and specificity measures of clinical indicators, estimate the prevalence of the diagnosis, and calculate posterior probabilities for the diagnosis.

Objective: To construct a middle-range theory for the nursing diagnosis of Sedentary Lifestyle in young adults.

Methods: A methodological study for the validation of a nursing diagnosis based on a Middle-Range Theory, carried out in six stages: definition of the approach; definition of theoretical-conceptual models; definition of main concepts; development of a pictorial scheme; construction of propositions; establishment of causal relationships and evidence for practice. The theory construction was operationalized through an integrative review and supported by Roy's adaptation model.

Objective: To evaluate, in Nursing students, the effect of clinical simulation as an educational strategy for learning about the cardiovascular physical examination.

Methods: Quasi-experimental study, with the placement of 30 undergraduate nursing students, from a public university in Northeast Brazil, in two groups - intervention and control. The educational intervention consisted of a clinical simulation applied to the intervention group.
