In this study, a hydroxylamine (HA)-enhanced magnetic spinel catalyst CuFeO-activated peroxymonosulfate (PMS) system (CuFeO/PMS/HA) was constructed to degrade Sulfamethoxazole (SMX). Results from experiments and theoretical calculations indicated that active species generation mechanism involved the direct activation of PMS by HA, the redox cycles acceleration on the surface of CuFeO by HA, and the synergistic action of the low valence Fe and Cu species in CuFeO for PMS activation. The efficacy of other organic pollutants removal was further validated in bio-treated landfill leachate through removal performance and toxicity assessment.

Methods: A systematic review identified randomized controlled trials on TRD, with efficacy measured by changes in the Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS). We developed pharmacodynamic and covariate models for different administration routes, using Monte Carlo simulations to estimate efficacy distribution.

Background/objectives: Septic cardiomyopathy (SCM) is a severe cardiac complication of sepsis, characterized by cardiac dysfunction with limited effective treatments. This study aimed to identify repurposable drugs for SCM by integrated multi-omics and network analyses.

Background: Online child sexual exploitation and abuse (OCSEA) is a global health issue. The aim of this global systematic review and meta-analysis was to better understand the prevalence and nature of OCSEA on a global scale.
Methods: Comprehensive literature searches were done in six UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish) and multiple databases, for records published between Jan 1, 2010, and Sept 30, 2023.
Low-light image enhancement (LLIE) aims to improve the visibility and illumination of low-light images. However, real-world low-light images are usually accompanied with flares caused by light sources, which make it difficult to discern the content of dark images. In this case, current LLIE and nighttime flare removal methods face challenges in handling these flared low-light images effectively: (1) Flares in dark images will disturb the content of images and cause uneven lighting, potentially resulting in overexposure or chromatic aberration; (2) the slight noise in low-light images may be amplified during the process of enhancement, leading to speckle noise and blur in the enhanced images; (3) the nighttime flare removal methods usually ignore the detailed information in dark regions, which may cause inaccurate representation.

Methods: We conducted a literature search of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library and Web of Science databases to identify trials published that had evaluated the correlation between DTI metrics in sensorimotor pathways and function scores in cerebral palsy.
This study advances newcomers' socialization research by identifying and investigating the antecedents of newcomers' proactive behaviors, a perspective often overlooked within the current studies, which primarily focuses on the outcomes of such behaviors. Based on the proactive motivation model, our core hypothesis is that inclusive leadership allows newcomers to experience psychological changes in control beliefs (can-do motivation), state promotion focus (reason-to motivation), and positive affect (energized-to motivation), which are stimulated following proactive behaviors. We further consider an individual values variable-individual power distance orientation-as the boundary condition on the influence of inclusive leadership.
