Background: Cord blood (CB) is widely used in treating haematologic disorders due to its broad availability, tolerance to significant histocompatibility antigen disparities, and low incidence of chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). The cord blood transplantation (CBT) with anti-thymocyte globulin (ATG)-containing conditioning regimens shows promise in this regard.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of data from patients who underwent CBT at our centre from August 2003 to December 2022.
Introduction: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) constitute myeloid malignancies, and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is considered as a potentially optimal approach for achieving a long term cure. However, post-allo-HSCT relapse remains a leading cause of mortality and therapeutic failure.
Methods: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of combining hypomethylating agents (HMAs) with Bcl-2 inhibitors in the treatment of AML/MDS relapse following allo-HSCT, we retrospectively collected data from 42 patients who experienced relapse between April 2012 and March 2022 at Peking University First Hospital.
Importance: Equecabtagene autoleucel (eque-cel), a fully human-derived B-cell maturation antigen-targeting chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy, has exhibited potential for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM), and further investigation in a larger cohort is necessary.
Objective: To evaluate whether eque-cel can benefit patients with RRMM and determine the overall response rate postinfusion.
Design, Setting, And Participants: The FUMANBA-1 trial was a single-arm, open-label, phase 1b/2 trial that evaluated eque-cel in adult patients with RRMM.
Unfit acute myeloid leukemia and high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome patients with prolonged neutropenia demand coadministration of venetoclax and azoles. However, venetoclax dosing under drug-drug interaction with azoles remains controversial. Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) is expected to guide drug dosage adjustments.

Thirty consecutive patients were enrolled in the study with a median follow-up of 50 months (range 4, 141), and the median age of the patients was 21 years (range 3, 49).
