Adrenal Crest in Testicular Tissue of an Undescended Testis in an Adult Patient: A Case Report.

This case report describes a rare occurrence of ectopic adrenal cortical tissue (EACT) in the undescended testis (UDT) of an adult male patient. The patient presented with an empty left scrotum since birth, and a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) confirmed the diagnosis of left-side UDT. Orchidectomy was performed, and a microscopic examination revealed a UDT with EACT.

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) are soft-tissue tumors that are rarely malignant. They can occur throughout the body but are rarely seen in the female genital tract. To our knowledge, the literature reports only a few cases of uterine IMTs.

Two Different Meningioma Variants in the Same Tumor: A Rare Histopathological Finding.

We report a case of meningioma with both secretory and lipomatous features in an advanced middle aged female patient with a 3-month history of headaches and convulsions. Radiological findings are revised and compared to other reported cases in the literature.

Extensive Paneth cell metaplasia in an ovarian Krukenberg tumor: report of an unusual case and literature review.

Paneth cells are classified as secretory cells which are normally found in the cecum and ascending colon. Their presence in other parts of the gastrointestinal tract is regarded as abnormal and indicates metaplasia. Paneth cells may also be rarely found in gastrointestinal, biliary and prostatic tumors.

Thalamic germinoma: a challenging diagnosis, case report and literature review.

The thalamus and basal ganglia are unusual locations for an intracranial germ cell tumors. We are reporting a rare case of thalamic germinoma in an 18-year-old male. Challenging presentation, radiological appearance and pathological finding after surgical intervention delayed the diagnosis and treatment.
