This case report aims to report the successful use of a short-splinted implant in a patient with a history of periodontal disease. Two implants were used to rehabilitate severe atrophied alveolar ridge with fixed prosthesis. Despite the left posterior ridge being weakened by maxillary sinus pneumatization and bone remodeling after tooth extraction, no bone grafts nor sinus osteotomy procedures were needed for the rehabilitation surgery.

Methods: Published (Cochrane Central, MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, and PEDro) and unpublished (Global Health, EThOS, WorldCat dissertation and thesis, ClinicalTrials.gov , OpenAIRE, DART-Europe) evidence was electronically searched from database inception to 29 March 2022.
This article summarizes the clinical steps involved in maxillary and mandibular complete-arch implant rehabilitation using a complete digital workflow. The maxillary arch was recorded using the double digital scan technique, and the mandibular arch using the triple digital scan technique. The digital protocol used in this case report allowed the recording of implant positions via scan bodies, soft tissues, and, most importantly, the interocclusal relationship in the same visit.

Current gait analysis methods, such as wearables or cameras, have privacy and operational constraints, especially when used with older adults. Millimeter-Wave (MMW) radar is a promising solution for gait applications because of its low-cost, better privacy, and resilience to ambient light and climate conditions.
