Background: Conventional laparoscopic right hemicolectomy (LRH) involves making an abdominal incision to remove the specimen and perform the anastomosis. Totally laparoscopic right hemicolectomy with natural orifice specimen extraction (NOSE) may lead to better outcomes compared to LRH.
Study Design: Forty consecutive female patients total were reviewed: 20 LRH and 20 NOSE.
Cystic lesions of the parotid gland may be the presenting symptom in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive patients. The most common lesion is the benign lymphoepithelial cyst. Malignant lesions may also be associated with-or be hidden by-a cystic mass.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFContext: Large bowel obstruction with perforation is an anomalous presentation of pancreatic tail carcinoma. Pancreatic cancer is often difficult to diagnose clinically and is especially furtive when it is located in the tail of the pancreas.
Case Report: We describe a patient who presented with large bowel obstruction due to splenic flexure mass which proved to be due to pancreatic mucinous adenocarcinoma.

Cardiac CT has become widely available as a diagnostic test. It is noninvasive, low risk (for contrast allergies), quick, and highly sensitive for identifying the coronary origins and course. Two coronary anomalies, the left main artery from the right sinus of Valsalva, and the right coronary artery originating from the left sinus, have been associated both with myocardial ischemia and sudden cardiac death when they course between the aorta and pulmonary arteries.
