Kienböck's Disease Following a Hypersupination Injury: A Case Report.

Wrist pain is a common presentation in primary care clinics. Chronic pain after trauma with non-acute radiographs requires careful physical examination and a case-specific workup. We present a case of a 32-year-old female evaluated at the primary care clinic with two months of left wrist pain after a hypersupination injury that was found to be secondary to avascular necrosis of the lunate on the left wrist with no radiographic signs of fracture or focal sclerosis on plain films.

A Case Report of Renal Infarcts Secondary to Segmental Arterial Mediolysis.

We present a case of incidentally discovered goblet cell adenocarcinoma of the appendix and the subsequent management. The patient initially presented with progressive epigastric pain in the setting of a family history of gastric cancer and personal history of colon polyps, for which surveillance was due.

Combining ultrasound and microelectrode recordings for postoperative localization of subthalamic electrodes in Parkinson's disease.

Objective: To assess transcranial sonography (TCS) as stand-alone tool and in combination with microelectrode recordings (MER) as a method for the postoperative localization of deep brain stimulation (DBS) electrodes in the subthalamic nucleus (STN).

Methods: Individual dorsal and ventral boundaries of STN (n = 12) were determined on intraoperative MER. Postoperatively, a standardized TCS protocol was applied to measure medio-lateral, anterior-posterior and rostro-caudal electrode position using visualized reference structures (midline, substantia nigra).

Our stereological analysis of adult DS cortex indicates a reduction of calretinin-expressing interneurons. Using Ts21 human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and isogenic controls, we find that Ts21 progenitors generate fewer COUP-TFII+ progenitors with reduced proliferation.

Inspired by intense challenges encountered by patients and clinicians, we examined the experiences of living with sarcoidosis in three of the hardest impacted English-speaking cities during the early COVID-19 pandemic: London, New Orleans, and New York. Measurement-based care in integrated health care: A randomized clinical trial.

Many suggest that the next step for integrated care is widespread implementation of measurement-based care (MBC). Although the measures most associated with MBC are standardized, no randomized clinical trial has demonstrated their use to improve psychotherapeutic outcomes with embedded behavioral health providers in integrated care.
