Basic Geo-Spatial Data Literacy Education for Economic Applications.

Geospatial data literacy is of paramount importance in an increasingly digital business world. Especially in economic decision-making processes, the ability to judge the trustworthiness of pertinent data sets is inevitable for reliable decisions. Thus, geospatial competencies need to supplement the university's teaching syllabus of economic degree programmes.

Background: Previous assessment guidelines from standard sources for urologic expert opinions show considerable differences in the recommended percentages for the assessment of reduction of earning capacity (MdE) for accident sequelae in the neuro-urological specialty.

Objectives: To develop a "revised and standardized version of the MdE assessments of neuro-urological accident sequelae (in tabular form) as a guideline/manual" for expert opinions in the legal area of the German and Austrian Statutory Accident Insurance ( www.dguv.

Management of pertrochanteric fractures in patients over 90 years: In-hospital mortality rate, complications and associated risk factors.

Purpose: This study aims primarily to investigate the outcome following surgical management of pertrochanteric fractures of patients over 90 years compared to the outcome of a control group below 90 years under special consideration of the timing of surgery. The second aim was to analyze potential risk factors for early deaths in very old patients. This study allows us to draw conclusions to minimize complications linked to this particular age segment.

Salvage perineal-retropubic AUS cuff in paraplegic patient with exstrophy-epispadias complex after previous cuff erosion at bladder neck.

Cuff erosion at the bladder neck of an implanted artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) needs complete explantation of the device. The subsequent scar tissues predispose to repeated cuff erosion, when another AUS is implanted with the cuff at a similar location. We describe a paraplegic patient with exstrophy-epispadias complex that suffered from an AUS cuff erosion at the bladder neck.
