In this study, an integrated approach combining UHPLC-HRMS, H NMR spectroscopy, and sensory analysis unveiled the unique lipid fingerprint of long-ripened Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Coppa Piacentina. Lipidomic profiling revealed significant alterations in lipid classes, including triacylglycerols, sphingolipids, and their oxidation products, which likely contribute to the distinctive flavor, texture, and nutritional properties of this traditional Italian product. UHPLC-HRMS analysis identified various lipid species, highlighting dynamic changes occurring throughout the 240-day ripening process.

Research Question: How does use of a levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) in infertile women with endometrial hyperplasia without atypia affect endometrial hyperplasia regression and pregnancy rates compared with oral medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA)?
Design: This prospective cohort study included 215 infertile women with an indication for assisted reproductive technology (ART) and a diagnosis of endometrial hyperplasia without atypia. Endometrial hyperplasia was diagnosed by hysteroscopic endometrial biopsy. At the time of first- and second-line treatment, patients were offered therapy with either oral MPA 10 mg daily or LNG-IUS.
In this work, Italian salami were produced using microbial starters (Pediococcus pentosaceus, Lactobacillus sakei, and Staphylococcus xylosus) and compared to a control sample (without starter). Metabolomics in combination with microbiological and sensory analyses were used to investigate the overall quality. Samples were analyzed immediately after stuffing, following 7, 30, and 45 days of ripening.

The traditional emphasis of Public Health on the type and quality of housing today merges with other wider determinants of health such as: the neighbourhood, the community and the "place" where a home is located, but also the policies that make access to a healthy home within everyone's reach. At the neighbourhood scale, context-related aspects heavily influence the internal quality and real usability of the buildings themselves, with particular reference to factors such as the quality of the site, the relationship between the building and the context, the presence and quality of the greenery and open spaces surrounding the building, as well as all measures that make it possible to reduce the building's impact on the environment, to protect it against environmental pollution, and to manage the building in an integrated manner for maintenance purposes. Creating healthy living environments means referring to the different dimensions mentioned above, and this not only requires the attention of Public Health operators, but also implies an integration of vision and objectives among various professional skills and competences that puts health at the center of all policies.
