Background: Alzheimer's disease (AD) in those who are bilingual is becoming increasingly prevalent in modern society, yet little is known about the impact of AD on the bilingual's two languages.

Aims: To gather information from the available literature on AD and bilingual individuals.

Methods & Procedures: The first author searched three electronic databases for relevant articles and retrieved 186 articles.
