Objectives: Leadership within medical academic institutions often adheres to hierarchical structures, relying on factors like seniority and context, with limited focus on leadership development. This study aims to develop a structured framework by examining the traits, aspirations, and pre-requisites of academic leaders within medical school faculties.
Methods: A cross-sectional study collected input from regular medical faculty and those in leadership roles through an online questionnaire, followed by quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Objectives: The purpose of this pilot study is to assess the United Arab Emirates dentists' preparedness to manage medical emergencies.
Materials And Methods: Ninety-seven licensed dentists participated in this study. Dentists responded to self-administrated questionnaires that contained 23 questions divided into five parts.
Objectives: We aim to assess the antibacterial effectiveness of probiotic cleaning in a dental clinic at the University Dental Hospital Sharjah (UDHS), UAE.
Materials And Methods: The current cleaning protocol of UDHS was evaluated by the surface swabbing of three dental clinics routinely cleaned using regular chemical disinfectants. Then, a new probiotic cleaning solution containing was applied for 3 weeks in a selected clinic.
