Histopathological study of lesions of nose and paranasal sinuses.

(1) To study the incidence of benign and malignant lesions of nose and paranasal sinuses (PNS). (2) To study various lesions in reference to sex differences and symptomatology. (3) To compare the findings of the study with other authors.

Disseminated cutaneous phaeohyphomycosis in immunocompetent child.

We present a 6-year-old immunocompetent child with disseminated cutaneous phaeohyphomycosis, affecting his face, arms, thighs, and chest. He was treated with oral itraconazole 100 mg once a day for 5 months and surgical excision of the residual lesions. Disseminated phaeohyphomycosis is very infrequent in immunocompetent children.
