Cochlear implants (CIs) are a well-established treatment for severe to profound hearing loss, particularly in young children. The success of CIs is influenced by various factors, including the age of implantation and the quality and duration of post-operative rehabilitation, such as Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT). AVT plays a crucial role in developing listening and spoken language skills in children with CIs.

This requires the estimation of the lower boundary of the PB values expected for a given PTA (one-tailed 95% confidence limit, CL). This study compares the accuracy and consistency of three methods for estimating the 95% CL.

These miPEPs can function as transcriptional regulators for their corresponding pri-miRNAs, ultimately enhancing mature miRNA accumulation. Notably, pri-miR408 encodes the functional peptide miPEP408, regulating expression of miR408 and its target genes, providing plant tolerance to stresses.

Throughout evolution, plants have developed strategies to confront and alleviate the detrimental impacts of abiotic stresses on their growth and development. The combat strategies involve intricate molecular networks and a spectrum of early and late stress-responsive pathways. Plant peptides, consisting of fewer than 100 amino acid residues, are at the forefront of these responses, serving as pivotal signalling molecules.

This method uses quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and a primer set derived from glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) gene of to identify the presence of the pathogen. The qPCR assay using this primer set was found highly sensitive, with a limit of detection (LOD) value of 4 pg of DNA.

The most effective approach to dealing with this biotic stress is to breed KB-resistant wheat varieties, which warrants a better understanding of genome architecture. In India, the North Western Plain Zone is the prime hot spot for KB disease, but only limited efforts have been made to decipher diversity at the genomic level.

Lifetime noise exposure, quantified using the NESI questionnaire, averaged ten times higher for the exposed group than for the control group. Audiometric thresholds were similar for the two groups over the conventional frequency range up to 8 kHz, but for higher frequencies, the exposed group had higher thresholds than the control group.

The expression of miRNAs is differentially modulated in response to various biotic and abiotic stresses. Recent findings have shown that some pri-miRNAs encode small regulatory peptides known as microRNA-encoded peptides (miPEPs).

The freshly collected semen sample of each jack stallion was divided into five equal fractions after addition of the primary extender without cholesterol-loaded cyclodextrin (CLC) (C) and with 1, 1.
