Transcriptomic analysis of profibrinolytic and fibrinolytic inhibitor genes in COVID-19 patients.

The immunopathogenesis of COVID-19 infection is initiated by the entry of the SARS-CoV-2 virus into the human body through droplets, entering the lungs and binding to the ACE-2 receptor. Activated macrophages stimulate an immune and inflammatory response, leading to the activation of the coagulation cascade, including profibrinolytic and fibrinolytic inhibitor processes. One of the proteins involved in profibrinolytic is encoded by the gene, while fibrinolytic inhibitor proteins are encoded by the and genes.

HIV-related Perceptions, Knowledge, Professional Ethics, Institutional Support, and HIV/AIDS-related Stigma in Health Services in West Sumatra, Indonesia: An Empirical Evaluation Using PLS-SEM.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the significance of associations between knowledge, professional ethics, institutional support, perceptions regarding HIV/AIDS, and HIV/AIDS-related stigma among health workers in West Sumatra, Indonesia.

Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study involving health workers at public hospitals and health centers in West Sumatra in June 2022. The Health Care Provider HIV/AIDS Stigma Scale was employed to assess the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
