Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is characterized by a series of behaviors which interfere with the optimal evolutionary development of a child, at the cognitive level as well as in his/her relations with his/her family and integration with other children in his/her age group. An estimated 7% of children have this disorder. 80% of these children will continue to have problems during adolescence while 30 to 65% show symptoms as adults.

Introduction: To evaluate the impact in the coverage of the cardiovascular diseases prevention service (PECV) after modifying the flu vaccination campaign (VAG) strategy.

Secondary Objective: to assess how this strategy affected the vaccine coverage against the flu and pneumococcus (VAN).

Material And Method: A before-after experimental study with a control group, carried out in the Campamento Health Centre (Madrid), with a population over 14 years old with indications for receiving VAG.

In order to improve the quality of nursing service provided to patients, the Nursing Directors for Area 7 Primary Health Care "IMSALUD" in Madrid drew up a work plan based, fundamentally, on a progressive installation of the scientific method in habitual nursing work. This transversal descriptive study measures the degree of installation of this method 18 months after the development of this plan and compares these results with those obtained 6 months after the development of this plan. After 18 months, Nursing Directors had planned to obtain a 50% complete compliance in the nursing process for immobilized and terminal patients.

Evaluating the practices nursing students perform is a complex activity, among various reasons due to the nonexistence of objective measurements with which to evaluate them, as well as the all too often limited previous preparation tutors have in pedagogical methods. These facts can provoke an inadequate evaluation of the aforementioned practices, causing, in the majority of the cases, a higher grade for those practices which is demonstrated in these circumstances by a surprising high, and consistently maintained, average grade obtained by students performing practices. In this article the author weighs a new practice evaluation model for students in Community Nursing who carry out their internship in Area 7 Primary Health Care Centers in Madrid.
