Background: B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-cell ALL) is the most common childhood cancer. Speed-of-sound (SoS) is an emerging ultrasound contrast modality, where pulse-echo techniques using conventional transducers offer multiple benefits. For estimating tissue SoS distributions, spatial domain reconstruction from relative speckle shifts between different beamforming sequences is a promising approach. Recognition of patients with multiple diagnoses, and the unique challenges they pose to clinicians and laboratorians, is increasing rapidly as genome-wide genetic testing grows in prevalence. We describe a unique patient with dual diagnoses of PDCD10-related cerebral cavernous malformations and ETV6-related thrombocytopenia with associated neutropenia. She presented with brain abscesses as an infant, which is highly atypical for these disorders in isolation.

Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML) is a rare and clonal hematopoietic disorder of infancy and early childhood with myeloproliferative/myelodysplastic features resulting from germline or somatic mutations in the RAS pathway. Treatment is not uniform, with management varying from observation to stem cell transplant. The aim of our retrospective review is to describe the treatment and outcomes of a cohort of patients with JMML or Noonan Syndrome-associated Myeloproliferative Disorder (NS-MPD) to provide management guidance for this rare and heterogeneous disease.

DNMT3A mutations are frequently found in clonal hematopoiesis and a variety of hematologic malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia.
