Aim: Docetaxel (DTX) loaded bio-compatible PLGA-PEG encapsulated zinc ferrite nanoparticles (ZFNP) formulation was developed and evaluated against C6 glioma cells.
Methods: The ZFNP were characterised using XRD, FE-SEM, TEM, etc. A series of drug formulations were fabricated by conjugating hydrothermally synthesised ZFNP with DTX in a PLGA-PEG matrix and optimised for drug loading.
Aim: To develop a biocompatible cobalt ferrite (CF-NP) nanodrug formulation using oleic acid and poly (d,l-lactide--glycolic) acid (PLGA) for the delivery of docetaxel (DTX) specifically to breast cancer cells.
Methods: The CF-NP were synthesised by hydrothermal method and conjugated with DTX in a PLGA matrix and were systematically characterised using XRD, FE-SEM, TEM, DLS, FTIR, TGA, SQUID etc. The drug loading, in vitro drug release, cellular uptake, cytotoxicity were evaluated and haemolytic effect was studied.
Waddington's epigenetic landscape provides a phenomenological understanding of the cell differentiation pathways from the pluripotent to mature lineage-committed cell lines. In light of recent successes in the reverse programming process there has been significant interest in quantifying the underlying landscape picture through the mathematics of gene regulatory networks. We investigate the role of time delays arising from multi-step chemical reactions and epigenetic rearrangement on the cell differentiation landscape for a realistic two-gene regulatory network, consisting of self-promoting and mutually inhibiting genes.

Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma arises from the follicular dendritic cells present in the lymph nodes, especially of the head and neck area. Rarely, extranodal sites may be affected including tonsil, the oral cavity, liver, spleen and the gastrointestinal tract. Here, we report a case of intra-abdominal follicular dendritic cell sarcoma presenting as a huge mass in the ileocecal region of a 24-year young woman.

The pressure-area isotherm of OVA shows the salt-induced increment of apparent area/monomer of OVA. Fibrillation of OVA in the LB film is monitored by FE-SEM imaging.

The complexation process and conformational changes are characterized using different spectroscopic and microscopic techniques. The UV-vis study demonstrates the perturbation of the soret/heme band and generates conformational heterogeneity within the heme group in the presence of silver.

The Langmuir-Blodgett technique is used for monolayer characterization. The adsorption growth-kinetics study shows that the adsorption process at the air/water interface is involved with two mechanisms: one diffusion with adsorption and the other rearrangement with unfolding.
