Successful Treatment of Refractory Trichodynia With Onabotulinumtoxin-A.

Trichodynia is a common symptom, which is characterized by a painful, burning or stinging sensation of the scalp, often in patients presenting with hair loss. It is typically associated with co-morbid psychiatric conditions and remains challenging to treat, with no Food and Drug Administration (FDA) treatments currently available. We herein report the successful use of off-label onabotulinumtoxin-A in treating a patient with trichodynia who has failed conventional therapies.

Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis: A Rare Case Report.

Epidermodysplasia verruciformis (EV) is an uncommon disorder that is transmitted in an autosomal recessive manner. It is characterized by increased susceptibility to human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, which presents with hypo- or hyperpigmented macular lesions, pityriasis versicolor-like lesions, and an early tendency to transform into skin cancer. We present a case of a 36-year-old female with complaints of asymptomatic, multiform lesions over the face, neck, chest, and upper arms.

A case of dupable duple duplicity and duplexity.

Duplication anomalies are quite common with ureteral duplication anomalies being the most frequent. Despite the relatively frequent incidence of a horseshoe kidney and duplication anomalies in any individual patient, the combination of horseshoe kidney and bilateral ureteric duplication is a very rare entity and very few cases have been reported to date. We present a case of a patient with a novel combination of a horseshoe kidney and multiple rare congenital renal anomalies and their sequelae.
