Objective: Understanding the attitudes and beliefs of clinical practicing physician assistants (PAs) regarding work-related burnout and an assessment of resource availability and satisfaction.
Methods: A 38-item online survey was sent to accredited PA programs to solicit distribution among their alumni.
Results: There were 164 respondents.
Paget disease of the breast is a rare form of breast cancer that affects the nipple and areolar complex. Clinicians should have a high suspicion for this condition in patients who fail conservative treatment for benign-appearing dermatologic findings regardless of age or sex. Methods: Patients with Stargardt's disease were included and submitted to visual acuity (logMAR) measurement and complementary examinations performed were color fundus photographs, fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography. All cases were reexamined for diagnostic confirmation and the duration of symptoms was determined.
Purpose: To verify the possible alterations in visual evoked potential of leprosy patients.
Methods: Visual evoked potential examinations were performed in 13 Hansen disease patients, 5 of them with the multibacillary form and 8 with the paucibacillary. This was done at the moment of the diagnosis.
