Previous studies suggest that early-life stress (ELS) induced by early maternal separation and isolation (MS) stress during the stress hyporesponsive period (SHRP) leads to increased curiosity-like and increased risky decision-making behaviour in adolescence. Evidence suggests that dietary interventions early in adolescence could play an important role in mitigating the detrimental effects of MS stress on risky decision-making behaviour. Hence, the present study hypothesized that nutritional supplements such as saturated fat (SFA) and/or polyunsaturated fat (PUFA) would be beneficial in ameliorating the impact of MS stress on risky decision-making behaviour when incorporated into the diet during early adolescence.

Herein, seven air-stable triarylmethyl radicals (-), each featuring a pyrrole ring, were successfully synthesized. Traditional drying methods for measuring sludge MC are time-consuming and lack of portability. Herein, SUMO-LUMO inversion (SLI) radicals - were designed by the combination of the tris(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl)methyl (TTM) radical and pyridinium derivatives (electron-withdrawing groups) for the first time. The energy of the LUMO lies below that of the SUMO, which deviated from the Aufbau principle as an alternative electronic configuration beyond the well-established SOMO-HOMO inversed system. Introduction: The aim of this study is to illustrate a case in which the use of a dorsal spanning plate followed by volar plating may be indicated in the setting of a complex intra-articular distal radius fracture. Combined dorsal spanning plate and volar plating is a rare procedure reserved typically for comminuted fractures of the distal radius. This case highlights the first reported incidence in which a dorsal spanning plate of a distal radius fracture resulted in the volar displacement of the fragments, requiring subsequent volar plating.
