Both anterior and posterior approaches have shown insignificant differences in good clinical outcomes with one over another advantages and disadvantages. This review aimed to provide evidence for the best management of subaxial cervical spine injuries and discuss the clinical outcomes and complications. Clinical studies of anterior versus posterior and anterior versus anterior-posterior (combined) approaches to subaxial cervical spine injury were searched electronically from PubMed, Medline, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library, and other Internet databases.

This systematic review aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of the administration routes of stem cell treatment for ischemic stroke. A systematic review was performed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines.

PHH gives a high risk of neurofunctional impairment. Ventricular lavage is the treatment of choice for PHH in neonates with IVH for decades.

Purpose: Hypertonic fluids such as mannitol and half-molar sodium lactate are given to treat intracranial hypertension in patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). In this study, sodium lactate was compared to mannitol in patients with TBI to investigate the efficacy in reducing intracranial pressure (ICP).
Methods: This study was a systematic review with literature research on articles published in any year in the databases of PubMed, ScienceDirect, Asian Journal of Neurosurgery, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials.

Pericranial flaps based on the supraorbital and supratrochlear vasculature have previously been used with significant success for the separation of intracranial and extracranial spaces after major trauma. Defect closure was modified due to lack of the frontal periosteum; the graft was made from the temporal side of periosteum to make primary periosteal flap longer.

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) shares pathophysiological mechanisms with ischemic stroke, yet there are few studies on the use of MLC601 in treating TBI. This Indonesian pilot study aimed to investigate clinical outcomes of MLC601 for TBI.
