  • - A study in northeast Penang assessed children who failed M-CHAT screenings from 2017 to 2021, finding that out of 82 children screened, only 32 received a final diagnosis, and of these, 25 (78.1%) were diagnosed with ASD.
  • - The results indicate that more than half of the children who failed the M-CHAT screening did not end up with a final diagnosis, and there is a positive correlation between older age and being diagnosed with ASD
